Online Learning being the latest wave of education. But however, there are some common challenges for both Lecturers and Students.

Switching Traditional Classroom and face-to-face to Computer-based Classroom makes the learning entirely different for the students. It takes time for the students to get used to online learning environment and it takes time for them to get accustomed to Course Management System (CMS) and the methods of computer-based education. Those students with "Traditional" mindset find it difficult to adapt, however they need to accept the new learning method that has been used during COVID-19 Lock Down circumstances with an open mind and heart. Try to understand the benefits in Online Learning. Students can save up money while travelling from their house to the campus. This is because, students no need to spend their money to refilling their car's petrol. Online Learning requires Internet and Laptop as the main.

As an online student, you can access class wherever you have a connected device but a strong internet connection is required. Low bandwidth and internet can affect on how quickly you can connect and participate your online class.

Meanwhile, as an Lecturer, they are obligated to conduct an effective online teaching. A part of using platform provided by university such as upload their teaching materials in Moodle or Blackboard, those Lecturers also use WebEx, Zoom and Skype to communicate with their students. With these interactive platforms, Lecturers can interact with the students directly if they have any question or the topic being taught.

Regarding to the Lock Down, IUKL has been conducted online learning effectively start on 1 April 2020. As the time being, we as a student attending classes and communicate with the Lecturer thru online software such as Zoom, Webex and Skype. The problem is sometimes, I couldn’t understand what the lecturer is teaching like I used to understand it perfectly while in normal class (physical). This is because, in the normal class, we can see the lecturer directly, meanwhile the lecturer can teach us easily without interruption such as slow internet, loss of sound, video stuck/jammed and limited time of video conference. However, I managed everything by communicate with my Lecturer thru WhatsApp group so that I can make sure what I’ve missed or things that I don’t understand.
